At the cusp of 2022 I started transforming discarded materials into a set of "Prayer Flags - Good Will Wishers."
As I made the flags, I imbued them with positive feelings, healing myself and wishing goodwill out into the world. In the Spring of 2022, they hung in the Carter Burden Gallery "On the Wall" space gently releasing good vibrations.

This 5-part piece is based on Tibetan Buddhist prayer flags and the tradition of hanging colorful cloths to promote blessings of peace, happiness, and good fortune out into the universe. The flags, by being made of re-purposed castoffs, embody belief in transformation and the power of individuals to change.
